Happy 3rd birthday Maci! I still can't believe that she is 3 years old! It feels like yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital... she's gone from 7lbs 4oz to 38lbs and from 20" to 39" in these short 3 years! I can't help but take a little trip down memory lane...

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo

On Christmas Eve, we went to Durango to ride the Polar Express Train! The train goes to the North Pole where you see can see Santa, his sleigh and all his reindeer! Santa sneaks on to the train and wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!
Waiting for the train, my mom & I are the only ones who look excited...
Maci and I
Papa & Maci looking for the train coming in
They see it!
Fixing Maci's hair for the millionth time before Santa came because she wanted to wear her hat backwards like a "dude".. Santa!!!
Santa and his helper wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and giving out goodies!
Maci thinks she is pretty lucky because she got to see Santa twice before Christmas! This time of year is so fun now with a little one around! Merry Christmas!!!

Princess Birthday Party!!!

So we celebrated Maci's 3rd birthday a little early... I guess we don't have much of a choice since I can't have it on her actual birthday EVER... poor girl! Anyway we had a full-out princess birthday! She has been looking forward to this party for a long time and can't wait to actually turn 3!
Waiting patiently for her party to start... staring at her cakes! She snuck a few fingers in it before the party even started! I had to move the dang thing or it would have been gone!

Maci and her great-grandma!

In her pretty little dress! She didn't like the way I fixed her hair (imagine that haha) so she did it herself!

Maci's great-grandma made her the Barbie cake! It was so cute and she loved it! I had to order another one since we had so many guests! They were so yummy! Maci refused to eat dinner, she told me that she didn't like pizza anymore, just cake!!!
Blowing out her candles
Trying on her new head band
Showing off her loot!
This year has by far been the funnest to watch! She really gets into opening presents! I didn't have to open any for her this year!
Riding her new Hello Kitty big girl bike! She's pretty good on it! (she looks like a hippie with that hair!!!)
Her party was so much fun! We were so thankful that so many people were able to make it and thank you for all the gifts, she has enough new things to play with to last years! Also thank you to all my friends & family who helped before, during and after the party - I seriously don't know what I would have done without the help!

Christmas Program

Maci was in her school's Christmas program this week! It was soooo cute and she did so good! I have video, but am not smart enough to get it on here yet, but I will soon! She was a little Christmas Present and had to say "I don't like this ribbon, it makes me itch, I hope I get opened first by Mitch"! All the kids said their little lines, then did a little dance and then sang a song! It was the cutest thing I have ever seen!

Maci getting ready to go to the program, being very serious!
Being a ham!
My beautiful girl saying cheese
She didn't look too happy, but there were a ton of people there, so I think they were all a little shocked at first! Maci's hair was fixed so pretty, but apparently right before walking onto stage she took it upon herself to re-do it (:
When it was her turn, she got super shy, smiled huge and said her words as fast and as sweet as she possibly could then ran back to her spot!
After the show was over, our Aunt Linda brought her flowers (why didn't I think of that???) Maci was so excited that she had her very own bouquet! She was really proud of them and insists on smelling them daily!

Here comes Santa Clause!

Maci's school sponsored an outing to the movies and to meet Santa! She was so excited to see him and just knew that he was going to give her the teddy bear that she has been asking for!

Waiting in line to meet the big guy! She was super excited!
When she finally got her turn, she decided she didn't like his beard at all and didn't want it to touch her!

Then she got really annoyed by his beard and was trying to move away from it. She was over Santa pretty quickly!
After all the waiting, she was a little disappointed that he didn't give her a teddy bear until she realized that he gave her a ton of new lip glosses and make-up! He redeemed himself then!

Two little love birds...

The other night my friend Misty came over with two of her kids, Reagan and Tristian. Maci & Tristian decided to dance to Rock Star! It was so cute! I think they are in love! They always have to be right next to each other and they kiss and hug. Maci tends to get a little bossy to poor Tristian and tries to make him do EVERYTHING for her... it's a little ridiculous! I have to tell Tristian to tell her to do it herself so she gets mad when he finally tells her no and tells him "fine then me not your friend anymore, me only Reagan's friend". She's ruthless with the boys already! Even when she's mean, Tristian still loves her though! Their going to be quite the pair when their older!

She always wants to wear this princess dress that her friend Madi gave to her! She has worn it so much that the bottom is completely worn out! For a full day she would only let me call her Little Princess! If I asked her a question she would say "No mama, say do you want some juice little princess"! It was funny for about an hour but after a full day of it, I was a little over the princess thing!
