After weeks of
Maci saying that I am her best friend - tonight she informed me that I am NOT her friend and she doesn't love me! This went on for quite awhile and I kept telling her "well I love you and you are my friend", but she wouldn't budge for a long time. I even pretended to cry so after I picked my heart up off the floor she finally told me that I wasn't her friend - I was her best friend! She also told me that she didn't want to eat dinner because it tasted gross! I always knew I was no chef, but gross???
Haha!
She's learning so many new words and joking so much with everyone! Tonight when she needed help in the bathroom she yelled at me to hurry up and when I didn't come fast enough she screamed "PRONTO MOM"! I was cracking up! I've went from being mama, to mommy now to just plain ole mom...! It's kind of sad...
Sometimes I think she is one of the most caring children I have ever met. My Grandma had an accident a week or so ago so we went to go see her. I tried to explain to her that Grandma had really bad
owies so she had to be really careful and not get in her lap. So she told me that she would bring Grandma a
band aid and make her feel better! Today she has been trying to take care of our dog Chloe who had surgery. I really have to watch her though because she is convinced that a
band aid will cure EVERYTHING! She is just growing up too fast and is so smart. She always amazes me.
